SKC Special Forces Ninja How much would this cost to be better than normal soldiers? $200 or more? Also would ninjas gain an advantage in any way?

Hmm, I spoke it over with Fox, these guys can be treated like anyother "special forces" they are just upgraded troops. So save your pennies and pay for the upgrade (CQC troops) and then they cost 15% more so that will be about $120 per unit, but they will be 15% more effective (Mal's figure) eitherway they are more effective over standard troops.

Special project: Putting a single SAM on a tank.
IRL Approx cost of tank: $6-7 million IRL Approx cost of Guided SAM missile (Stinger): $36,000 IRL Approx cost of Guided AT missile (Javelin): $40,000
GC Ratio: $6,000 : $36 : $40 Total IRL Ratio Cost: $6,076 Real GC Cost with Tier1 Upgrade: $7,200 (+100,000)
IMO it should either cost no more than 6,000 or there should be a Tier between 0 and 1.
An idea: We could have a bulk upgrade system, where you could choose two upgrade paths: -A bulk upgrade of 100k that lasts forever on the unit, and no extra cost on individual unit cost. -Not paying 100k, however, every time you buy an individual unit it will cost twice or thrice more than normal.
Lets take an Abrams Urban Survival Kit (fictional). The American Army could either: -Buy alot of them for a huge cost -Buy an individual kit for each tank
I want Fawkz's, Malachi's, and Shark's opinion if possible.
I don't want a single opinion, but many.
Another thing: I'm going to apply upgrades to all tanks, since I have at least 5 models. They all will function the same, it's only the looks that are different.
This brings up another idea: applying an upgrade not to a single unit, but to an entire category (MBT, Heavy tank, SPG etc) As it could cause problems with people such as me, with a huge diversity between units.
Think of IRL again: If we find a way to make a better main gun for a tank, wouldn't we apply this upgrade to all tanks of the same calibre? (We could if we wanted to.)

I thought we've given our opinions already. Adding an SAM onto a tank is a bit overpowered, and upgrading it seems like the only balanced way of integrating it.
Also, the pricing idea just seems like another layer of complication onto this, and I think it's got enough. I have no problems with the current upgrade system.

I've been thinking: to make it fair, I will simply make a "Future Multipurpose Heavy Armour Survival Kit" available for UT MBTs and heavy tanks only. It will add the SAMs/AT missiles/whatever extra weapons, and a few new reactive armor upgrades. For RP purpose it will also have a new comm kit and a half electric half gasoline engine. This way it will resemble real life a little more and give it a little more fairness.

I think you should price it at 450k because I see nothing better than furtures ship, other than his ship has stealth.

Anti-ICBM/Satellite/Long Range Air Installations, fixed positions. 4 cells each, permanent installation.
I am pricing each at 2k due to:
-Ticonderoga Class Cruiser: 122 cells -Ticonderoga Class = AEGIS -Ticonderogas VLS system can knock down ICBMs and low flying satellites -Ingame Price: 60,000 -For 60,000 you get a complete VLS system with 122 cells -For 2,000 you get a VLS system with 4 cells
Acceptable?

It would have helped if you actually described what you were doing, or made an image of a standard installation, But sure 2k sounds fine.

I'm sort of doubting that it could fly.... but price it at 40k. Thats twice the cost of a Heavy Bomber if anyone is wondering.

I think it counts just as an MLRS, but I'll let Sam confirm that.
Edit: Oh, wait, there's no pricing for MLRS's. Hm.

I think MLRS falls under self-propelled artillery, which I think would cover the other two TAVs, but this might be a little different.

900km? that falls at 40k, maybe even more. Speaking of which, I'll have to upgrade the Suvorov with much longer range.

I hope you realize that that cobra uses a missile muchmuchmuch larger than the one your Suvorov uses.... unless you plan on putting a big missile on it...

I never said how much I want to expand the range...? See that's the problem, everyone constantly makes assumptions.

Yeah, but by saying "...with much longer range." It makes it sound like it's going to have a massive range increase.
