I was going to wait until I was done in Bolivia, but I think I've got the troops to take Argentina. The three day cool down is over (yes I checked the rules first ), and I'm in growth mode still, baby. On the Argentinean border, the Imperial Army prepares: 400 standard riflemen 50 marksmen 50 LMG gunners 20 HMG gunners 200 SMG specialists 20 artillery guns 10 medium tanks 5 airships 10 heavy fighters To attack tomorrow/later today (depending on when your tomorrow is).

Trust me, I've been feeling the same way. I didn't intend for things to take as long as they do when I made that choice. So ATTENTION: Independent nation taking cooldown timers will now start at the beginning of a battle, instead of the end. HOWEVER if your first battle isn't over, the troops used are still off fighting and cannot be used in a second battle. I'd also like to remind people that this cooldown applies to auctions as well. If you currently have a cooldown, bump it so that it started at the beginning of your last battle. I made double sure it was a legal move.

first of, on you. Argentina will be mine! I'm assuming the fight will be taking place in the thickly jungled lowlands, forcing tanks and artillery along roadways? I'll split the tanks into two groups of five, and start heading down the roads. Each group will be proceeded by 25 SMG's and 50 standard riflemen to spot for mines or ambushes. They will be flanked by 100 riflemen, 25 LMG's and 25 marksmen each as well. all infantry are ordered to stick to the jungle surrounding the road and avoid detection if possible. 100 SMG's and 100 riflemen are ordered to comb the jungle between the roads for hostiles Airships fan out over the battlefield to get an accurate glimpse of enemy positions. My heavy fighters also fan out, but are ordered to fire upon enemies to attempt to slow their movement and hopefully take out some infantry. I'll split up my artillery into 4 groups of 5, and spread them way out. As soon as airships can confirm enemy positions, they will start shelling them out. each group of artillery guns will have 5 HMG's set up in defensive positions incase of flankers.

The Argentine soldiers being experts of jungle warfare and knowing the terrain well hide, they manage to avoid detection by Brazilian troops. they wait till they have gone past and follow, but do not to closely and do not engage, the Argentine tanks are waiting ahead, not visible from the sky.
Eventually the Brazilian troops stumble into the Argentine tanks arcs and they engage, but the thick forest render them almost useless.

The Argentine tanks are destroyed, but the sub-machine gunners and Riflemen open fire on the Brazilian troops.

Brazilian troops are ordered to fall back to the tanks, who have started opening fire on argentine troops. Ideally, the tank barrage will open lines of sight for LMG's, riflemen, and marksmen. SMG troops spread out along the road to prevent an Argentine retreat. Fighters do another fly over, if any enemy troops are seen in the open they will be fired upon.
