I'll send in 2 Airships to bomb the military bases, lowering the available troops to counter my attack, and 10 light fighters to strafe mobilizing troops. Then 200 infantry, 10 HMGs shall attack to conquer

I've moved this to Africa, because I was a derp for putting it in Europe. And I'll be timeout winning it in a little over 24 hours if no one decides to mod it >.> This would be a good time for one of the new mods to get aquainted with modding

After air-bombing the bases, the only real military threat that remains is amassed outside of Cairo. The opposition counters with:
175 riflemen 15 snipers 5 HMGs mounted on camels. (It's a real thing)
The area is comprised of low sand dunes, with one short mountain range running opposite your invading forces. The snipers have taken cover at the peak, with about 3 riflemen each for cover. The rest gather near the bottom of the mountain, using sheds and shrubs for cover, while the camel gunners make sweeps occasionally.

xD Camel mounted HMGs, there must be more to Arch's Horse mounted version than I originally thought. Or we're actually playing metal slug xD
My infantry makes their way towards the mountain range slowly, using the dunes to cover themselves as best they can, they spread out as far as they possibly can to force marksmen and MGs to cover an extremely wide area. The MGs make their way some distance behind the main troops, staying just behind the tips of the dunes until another dune becomes 'clear', so that when the shooting startes they can set up immediately and start filling their target zones with lead. The Light Fighters keep up a constant flyby of the area, looking for movement so they have something to strafe.

LOL The first strafe hits 2 of the camel gunners, and kills 4 marksman and their guards, as well as 15 infantry on the ground. The remaining ones try to relocate to less visible in case the fighters attack again. The battle begins on the ground. While moving to a suitable firing position, You lose 15 riflemen as you advance, but quickly outperform the Egyptian army at this range. You demolish 35 of their marksman, and another camel gunner. As your fighters pass over, one is shot down by the camel gunners. (Total BE casualties: 15 riflemen, 1 fighter.) (Total NPC casualties: 62 riflemen, 3 Camel gunners, 4 marksman) The battle field looks like this. The black represents dunes used for cover, the green is you, colors indicate Riflemen and MG's, number and position of units not to scale. The Red is Egy Rifles, Orange is Egy Camel gunners, and grey is snipers, who are now somewhat hidden. The red arrow represents the direction of strafes.

Really? Alright. I'll just use ASCII, basically. N
BE MG>BE R>---------------<EGY MG<EGY R(EGY Sniper) W * E
S
The > brackets are dunes and the way they face, Soldiers are abbreviated, and the ( ) are the cliffs, were the snipers are located. The fighters are sweeping from North to South.

Well, the MGs are going to focus on blanketing areas where supposed snipets are by watching for muzzle flash. If the distance is really long that's fine, MGs can use plunging fire Sent from my VM670 using ProBoards

The MGs overpower the marksman, killing another 7, and finishing off the enemies MGs. There are only around 55 enemy rifles left. Another strafe of the planes kills 8, leaving 47. 4 of your MG gunners and 15 of your riflemen are killed, though.
(Total BE casualties: 30 riflemen, 4 MGs, 1 fighter.) (Total NPC casualties: 128 riflemen, 5 Camel gunners, 11 marksman)

I have no problem keeping things the same, I still outnumber them and have superior weapons. If anything my rifles dig in and stay out of sight, leaving the fight to the MGs and planes as long as a single sniper is still alive.

The few Egyptian forces remaining are either wounded or far overpowered. What men haven't died, surrender. You now control Egypt (Total BE casualties: 30 riflemen, 4 MGs, 1 fighter.)
