Conquest: Italy

Britannian forces:
40 Howitzer units divided into 2 batteries of 20.
60 HMG units divided into 3 batteries of 20.
400 Standard units divided into 3 battalions of 200.
8 Marksmen units, distributed 1 per every other group.

Ok, so it'd be awesome of someone would mod this, before I decide to auto win it.

Alright fuck it, i am gonna mod. (..AGAIN)

The Italians are only able to muster a light resistance, 40 men armed with their rifles hid themselves in the drainage ditches on the sides of the roads whilst 5 marksmen are hid up on the ruins of an old Roman Aquaduct.

My marksmen travel in pairs as scouts. Any aqueducts would be checked by 2 pairs before using them themselves in order to gain a better view. 1 pair travels ahead of the main force, 300 infantry followed by the HMGs. Artillery in the rear with 1 pair of marksmen and 100 infantry as a rear guard.

Spotting the marksmen climbing up into the aqueduct the marksmen decide to drop them before the main force comes into range, the bodies are then hidden in the dry channel of the aqueduct.

The rebels spot the main force coming into view, they manage to hide as the scouts pass, they ambushers wait until the artillery has passed before jumping out and attacking the artillery crews taking out 3 crews and 2 escorting riflemen, the marksmen in the aqueduct opens fire on the rear guard.

Well shit, I was hoping my scouts would have been scouting better than that... *shrug*

Though as the rebel marksmen fired, their shots were heard by the front guard who snuck back to blend in with the forward infantry as they watched for any obvious hiding spots, such as the aqueduct. They also spread the word to be on guard through out the column. HMG and Artillery units filed in to a single column, flanked on all sides by infantry.

When the rebels attack they have to fight through the infantry, and the rear guard marksmen immediatly attempt to find and kill them.

Alright ignore the first losses i put up (Minus the scouts)

The rebels immediately take losses but they fight through, managing to hit and kill 2 crews and 10 infantry before being killed. The marksmen in the aqueduct continue firing until they are killed taking out another 15 infantrymen.

And the army moves on

Now I just wish we had done this 2 hours ago
