1 Company, Grenadier guards once again find themselves thrown onto the frontlines. However for this operation they are supported by the Royal navy. They will deploy from the Naval Harbour at Gibraltar.

(If needed I can give a link to the structure for the Mech Infantry coy I have sent so you can see the full [RP] strength.) The troops on the ground immediately go into effect to cut enemy supply lines. Westminster Platoon* is deployed to do a CTR (Close Target Recce) of a large wooded area thought to be an enemy "base" location. As they advance the vehicles will be left in cover but in a position to provide support. The platoon will advance in their 8 Man sections quietly and moving as low to the ground as they can. The other two platoons will take up an aggressive patrolling operating from a secured compound that houses Company and Platoon HQ's. At sea the 4 British destroyers advance on the Portugese ship. The Spruance class ships will engage with just guns whilst the Enforcers are able to fire guns and Missiles at the enemy ship. If required 2 Lynx helicopters will provide torpedo support against the Portugese ship, Whilst the other 6 are on stand-by to assist ground troops if they come under heavy contact. * Westminster platoon: Mech Infantry Platoon:

Your Westminster platoon makes contact with a Portuguese patrol of 10 riflemen, 5 carbines, and two jeeps. Their vehicle support helps quickly eliminate this force, with the loss of only 4 UK riflemen and a grenadier.
The enemy base in the area is defended by machine gun towers, and most of the remaining Portuguese force is only starting to be readied against the UK force. The jeeps and AA batteries have not been moved from their refueling and parking positions, and the enemy troops are scrambling to prepare. The sound of gunfire has accelerated their preparations, but not significantly.
Your larger naval force quickly dispatches the enemy frigate with only minor damages.

With the intel gathered from the patrol 1 Company prepares for their assault of the enemy base.
All 3 platoons load up into their vehicles and will advance in a 3 pronged attack on the enemy base. As they advance the .50 gunners will engage the enemy MG towers. As soon as any platoon has decent sight on the enemy motor pool they will disembark and engage with MILAN launchers and AT rockets.

Your attack quickly dispatches the remaining Portuguese troops at the loss of 11 UDKA riflemen, 2 grenadiers, and a rocket launcher. Congratulations, you now own Portugal.
