Reconquest: United States of America

Having cobbled together a barely-existant army, the CDU sets in motion its plan to take it's former nations back. It invades the ruins of Washington DC, attempting to capture its makeshift government and assert its dominance upon the American populace.

The CDU sends:
25 C14 Rifles
5 La Lounge Snipers
10 Kit Carbines
1 Panther Tank
1 Goose Multirole Fighter

The CDU will also deploy 10 COUGAR squads, using 5 unmarked Civvie vans to transport them into range of the White House.

Wealthy in natural resources, the Americans have prospered in their independent years. Their fancy new budget has allotted them:
50 Assault rifles
50 SMGs
4 Snipers
2 APCs
1 SAM platform
1 Helicopter gunship
They've fortified the urbanized area around the whitehouse:

The Goose is to fly at high-speed, firing AA missiles at the Helicopter and popping flares if the SAM manages to lock on. If it has time, it is also to fire some AGMs at the APC's if it spots any. Once it has completed this, it is to return to an out-of-lock area where the SAM cannot fire on it. There, it will land at first chance and swap in a ground attack kit, utilizing unguided bombs and clusters.

3 COUGAR teams are deployed to attack the SAM site, 2 are deployed into the White House. The rest will lie in wait in the vans, in case anyone attempts to retake the White House.

Lastly, the Panther is to move through to the Washington monument, the tank commander using binoculars to scout out the APC's and any troop movements. The riflemen will follow the tank, using it as cover, while the Snipers will find high ground around the monument, the Kits providing escort in case the snipers are engaged up close.

The AA missiles smash into the enemy helicopter, sending it into a spiral into the ground. Your flares distract the initial salvo from the SAM platform.
The COUGAR teams are pinned under fire as they attempt to take the White House, the American Riflemen are holed up in the building. Both cats are shot, but the COUGAR teams take out 9 American Riflemen.
The COUGAR teams attacking the SAM site are successful, and destroy it without casualty.
Both enemy APC's engage your riflemen, but are outclassed by your panther. They are destroyed, but 4 of your riflemen fall into the radius of the enemy autocannons and are out of commission.
Before the APCs are destroyed, they unload 20 SMG troops who scatter into cover and try to flank around your Panther to get shots at your riflemen.
Your marksmen move to natural high points, and find American marksmen already dug in. The americans take out 1 Kit, but are overwhelmed and killed in close combat. Your marksmen are now in good positions, and take out 6 riflemen and 5 smgs from their vantage points.

The COUGAR teams are to all converge on the White House, leaving the cats behind in the vans as they don't work as well in the long corridors with little cover. They will use door-to-door breaching tactics and flipping tables, etc. over for cover.

The marksman are to set up so that the flanks of the Panther and soldiers are covered, while the Kits provide overwatch and security, using binoculars to help spot the enemy troops.

The riflemen are to attempt to take out the SMGs before they can flank, using the accuracy of the 7.62 TATO round to hit them before they close.

Once the Goose rekits, it is to prepare to level the White House after COUGAR exits, giving the Americans something to fear.

Enemy Riflemen in the White House keep COUGAR teams from entering, taking out one team with their suppressive fire.
10 SMGs are killed by your riflemen, the rest seek refuge in surrounding buildings.
Your Goose slams the White house with rockets, destroying all but the fortified bunker sections. This is not the first time the Canadians have reduced the building to rubble.

Seeing this destruction, the remaining Americans surrender to their northern neighbours. Congrats, you now own the U S of A.

Overseeing the exchange of power, Commander Erik meets the president, slightly dirty and bruised from the COUGAR extraction. He shakes the man's hand and waves him towards an armoured car. As the president turns around, Erik draws a C3A2 pistol and fires it at the back of the president's head, re-holstering it as the body falls.

"You've failed me once already..." Erik walks over to his car and sits inside, driving from the smoldering ruins of the once prosperous city.
