Liberation of Syria

200 Revolutionaries (ARM72 Gale), 50 Guerillas (SVR75 Basilisk), 20 Sandcats, and a Desert Dragon will be used in the upheaval of the oppressive establishment in Syria. The field of battle will be Syria's capital city, Damascus.

The airfield is protected by:

The rest of the units secure the leader.

HVT Assassination
10 Brave Guerillas have volunteered to go on this dangerous expedition.
They are to stealthily enter the area, and sniff out the enemy military leader. Once they find him, they will surround the area, remaining at the maximum effective range of their SVR75 Basilisk sniper rifles. These brave men and women know the risks implicated, and thus will continue to fire upon the man/woman until he/she is dead, regardless of the other units. Once the target is downed, they will hide and wait for extraction pending completion of the other two objectives.

Airfield Takeover
The Desert Dragon, 10 Sandcats, 20 Guerillas, and 100 Revolutionaries will storm the airfield. The Desert Dragon will target the enemy jet fighters first, hitting them with ATGMs before they lift off the ground, before moving on to use their two door guns for anti-infantry.
The Sandcats and the Revolutionaries will launch a strike on the airfield, drawing fire from the establishment forces. Half of the Revolutionaries will be riding in the Sandcats, protected from most small-arms fire, and adding extra outward firepower.
The Guerillas, wearing urbanized ghillie cloaks, will approach stealthily and pick off enemy snipers and MG emplacements.

Supply Drop Interception
The remaining forces, consisting of 100 Revolutionaries, 20 Guerillas, and 10 Sandcats, will push for the Supply Depot. This operation will be a mirror to the Airfield Takeover, sans the Desert Dragon.

Your forces succesfully eliminate the enemy leader with sniper fire, but due to neglecting the fact of the heavy protection he was under 8 snipers are lost but 2 are able to sucessfully escape.

The supply compound is taken with only 2 Revolutionaries killed in the process.

The airfield run is not as succesful, the 2 enemy aircraft are taken out but the Sandcats come under heavy fire from the .50cal MG emplacements, one is destroyed, another is imobilised before they are eliminated by snipers.

A team of 20 Revolutionaries and 5 Sandcats are dispatched to rescue the survivors of the Assassination mission. They will fire upon establishment forces without mercy.

The Guerillas from the Supply Takeover will head through the city and arm the local population (RP Value, troop tallies remain unaffected) to fuel the revolution. A squad of Revolutionaries with loudspeakers will assist them by speading morale support.

The remaining freedom fighters will turn to the airfield and start a large scale offensive, overwhelming the smaller force. The Desert Dragon will strike enemy MG positions, and the Revolutionaries and the Sandcats will provide heavy fire on enemy infantry.

The airport forces are over run with ease completing all objectives.
