The Jordanian army has a fairly nice setup, utilizing:
250 Riflemen 75 SMGs 30 Marksmen 15 RPG launchers
5 Light Jeep vehicles 2 stationary AA guns
1 Light Helo Gunship equipped for infantry killing (mini-guns)
The Royal palace is where most of the units are placed, using its large halls and tight corridors to remain hidden. There is a small defensive force at a nearby ammo cache, consisting of (taken from above tally, not separate units):
50 Rifles 20 SMGs 5 Marksman (on the roof, hidden from sight) 3 RPG launchers Light Gunship (Helipad on roof)
Capturing the weapons cache will allow you to arm any civilians joining your cause, helping in the fight against the JA. Doing so will also supply a MANPAD unit for your soldiers (RP only, will not affect troop tally), effectively remove the light gunship from play, saving your infantry a good deal of grief.
Taking the Palace will effectively end the fight, as it is the only objective the Jordanian army seems interested in keeping. It is extremely heavily guarded however, meaning it will not fall easily.
In a small courtyard a short distance from the palace, both AA guns are set up. 10 Rifles and 10 SMGs guard them, watching all angles to cover them. 5 light jeeps patrol the area around them, easily equipped to tear through infantry that should try to take the guns. Taking them will add another way to bring down the chopper.

IFF Guerillas will lead the way, scouting out enemy locations. They will plant IEDs at strategic locations, such as at the end of streets, choke points on major roadways, intersections, etc. They are rigged to go off when heavier vehicles, such as armed trucks, pass by. They will stick notices in conspicuous locations, informing citizens of the battle about to take place. Pro-revolution citizens are advised to use whatever weapons they have available, whether it be hunting rifles or kitchen knives. Citizens against or ambivalent towards the IFF are warned to remain in their homes.
Approximately half an hour after this takes place, the battle will begin.
The Revolutionaries will push through the city, split up into two groups. 200 of them will press towards the palace, and will gun down any establishment forces they find. They will move in squads of 2, and will combine fire on enemy armed individuals. Semi-automatic fire is advised, but an exception can be made in the event of a close-up encounter with SMG wielding soldiers, in which case switching to fully automatic will be a better course of action. Although not ordered to, the Revolutionaries will probably taunt the Jordanian establishment forces, making hostile/humorous remarks. They are bolstered by 30 Guerillas, who will search for enemy snipers. They will aim for centre mass and fire in three round volleys.
50 of them will make obtaining the weapons cache a priority, and will use the same combat tactics as stated above; combining fire on individual enemy units. They assisted by 20 Guerillas, who will act as anti -sniper and -RPG units. They will also use the same tactics as stated above.
Any troops who come across enemy technicals will take cover. The gunner will be targeted first, and will be fired upon when a shot is guaranteed.
Any troops harassed by the helicopter will take cover and fire back, planning on using the heavy power of the 7.62x54R to force the chopper into a more defensive flight pattern.
The main strategy is to clear out the area surrounding the palace before moving in for the kill.
