The Papua New Guinea Defense Force responds with:
Infantry: 150 riflemen 80 sub-machine gunners 20 marksmen 50 light machine gunners
Armored Vehicles: 7 IFVs 10 MBTs 10 artillery guns 5 mobile anti-aircraft guns 2 mobile SAMs
Aircraft: 2 interceptors 1 ground attack fighter 3 medium transport helicopters w/ heavy machine guns
Warships: 2 destroyers, w/ anti-aircraft guns 10 fishing boats w/ .50 machine guns
The islanders have set up their command center on the spot marked Yabob on the map, which appears to be a large hill. They have dug deeply into the hillside, setting up their machine guns in concrete pillboxes, their artillery in covered concrete pits, and their tanks and IFVs with their guns sticking out of concrete barriers. The entire bunker is camouflaged with bushes, leaves, trees, and paint. There are no paved roads up the hill, only narrow trails between the trees.

The Mortar Observation Section is deployed in a recce role and is positioned about 1.5 miles to the south of the enemy fortification in a large patch of woodland on the west side of the highway set up in a camouflaged OP position, the rest of the large convoy of UDKA ground units is halted and have set up Platoon base harbours in forested areas about 3 miles away from the enemy fortification.
From camouflaged positions the UDKA Artillery batteries open up with a mix of White Phosphorus and HE on the enemy positions. Air Defense Section is set up around the main UDKA PBH Area to cover from Air Attack, until air space is cleared all friendly aircraft are away from the AO.

The artillery bombardment is deadly effective against the entrenched Defense Forces. The smoke asphyxiates scores of enemy troops, and the explosive rounds annihilate the exposed artillery guns. However, the New Guinean forces respond with their own artillery barrage. Also, the hillside is now on fire and impossible for troops to navigate. The smoke will continue to kill enemy infantry as the battle goes on, but it will be unsafe to move ground units over the burning hill. Any firefighting aircraft that go overhead may be confused for bombers and shot down.
The New Guinean forces lose 96 riflemen, 22 sub machine gunners, 7 marksmen, 34 light machine gunners, 2 IFVs, 1 MBT, 6 artillery guns, 2 mobile anti-aircraft guns, and 2 mobile SAMs. The UDKA loses 25 riflemen, 12 marksmen, 2 light machine gunners, 1 MBT, 2 artillery guns, 1 SPG, and 1 mobile SAM.

UDKA forces bug out and relocate.
With only 2 AA guns remaining the Tornado Fast Jet uses its speed to target and strike the AA guns from high altitude and distance before moving out of the area to await orders.
1 Mortar battery moves up to the west of the hill through the woodland to set up their 6 mortars and engage the enemy position whilst an Apache strafes the east side with rockets and 30mm cannon.

The Tornadoes eliminate the remaining AA guns. The UDKA mortar teams destroy 22 riflemen, 4 marksmen, 12 light machine guns, 10 submachine gunners, and 2 IFVs before the wind shifts and blows a cloud of smoke over their position. They manage to escape. The Apache eliminates 2 more IFVs, a MBT, and 10 riflemen, 3 marksmen, and 2 light machine gunners, but its visibility is hindered by the smoke.

The Tornado pulls out of the area and refuels with a C-150 whilst the Apache gunner makes use of thermal optics to engage through the smoke whilst the pilot maintains an altitude higher than the peak of the hillside.
The mortar team packs up and moves back out adjusting their position, the remaining artillery sets up and resumes firing HE rounds into the hill side. As night falls Illumination rounds are fired too to light the enemies up and make them easier to target for the Artillery Observation unit.

The Apache's night optics cut easily cut through the smoke, and the fire is now dying down. The helicopter finishes off the remainder of the New Guinean armored vehicles, and the combination of the fires, artillery, and the gunship finishes off the remaining enemy ground forces inside the bunker.
However, the New Guineans do not take this loss lightly; they send in their air forces and attempt to bomb the UDKA positions, only to be shot down by SAMs. Only 11 riflemen, a light machine gunner, and 2 IFVs were lost on the UDKA side, while the New Guineans lose all of their air units.
The remaining naval forces surrender, having no way to target the UDKA units. Congratulations, whatever it was before per day.

Uhh.. I'll go with just the 6.5k because of the new rules increasing anything under 6.5k to 6.5k
UDKA Losses: 34 riflemen, 12 marksmen, 3 light machine gunners, 1 MBT, 2 artillery guns, 1 SPG, 1 mobile SAM. 2 IFV
