The Egyptians fight back with 75 Riflemen 150 SMGs 3 Medium Helicopter Gunships
The Egyptians have fortified Cairo for their last stand. Infantry will patrol the tight city streets, and the gunships will fly overhead to provide recon and protect troops from your armour. Be careful not to cause too much destruction in the city.

The first priority is for the hostile heli's to be downed. 20 Savage 55s are to be dedicated to this task, using arnor-piercing incendiary autocannon rounds. The rest of the transports are filled with infantry, and they, along with the tanks and footslogging infantry, infiltrate the city.

Your transports smash 2 of the helis, the heavy autocannon rounds punching through their light armour and throwing them violently to the ground. The remaining heli gunship retreats farther into the city. Your armour and infantry runs up against a blockade, and is under fire from Egyptian SMGs. They will not damage the MBTs or APCs, but could cause significant damage to your exposed infantry. Riflemen fire from the rooftops.

Infantry is to take cover wherever they can find it, even if it means hiding behind Congolese armor. LMGs are to provide suppressing fire for the snipers, who are given fire-at-will status. The Savages, having downed the majority of air threats, regroup with the main force. Assuming that they are able to do so without causing too much damage to the surrounding city, the Savages and Bushbuck MBTs are to fire upon the resisting troops.

The Enemy gunship returns, firing AGMs at your transports. It successfully destroys 1, but is then shredded by autocannon rounds. Your troops fire on the defenders, Savage autocannon rounds do only mild damage to the buildings when used in moderation. Suppressive fire is successful, and your snipers score multiple hits against enemy troops. The enemy infantry recoils back into the city, getting hit significantly as they go. They are down to ~40% original strength, and are garrisoning in an office building.

Disembarking from their transports, the infantry enters the building to clean it out. Snipers stay outside and take shots at targets that present themselves through the windows.

The remaining egyptian riflemen are killed one by one as they pop out of cover to attack your troops from the windows. The Egyptian SMGs engage your troops at close quarters once inside the building, and kill 15 riflemen and 10 SMGs. Your troops overwhelm them, however. You now own Egypt, $7,500 per day. Total losses:25 riflemen, 4 marksmen, 20 SMGs, 2 LMGs, and 1 IFV.
