Just thought I should ask something here. Suggestions section didn't seem like the place, really. When the technology goes so far that we have managed to inhabit the Mars and/or Chiron planets, what happens? The world stays there, but does it become ''forgotten'' and the stuff happens in the other planet? Or it stays there and stuff still goes on in there? Also, when we inhabit the planet, are we going to draw a new map for it? If yes, will that map contain other NPC nations, or what happens? If we will draw new maps for it, can I draw it? I am interested in ''world making'', although not very experienced and I may require some extra information about the planets, if possible.

Well, I was thinking the old planet stays where it is and stuff happens as normal. The new planet colonies will be mostly on their own as shipping huge amounts of resources and such from one planet to another will cost stupendous amounts of money, unless you're Prok, you'll be better off letting the colony grow on its own. Which means it's entirely possible for a well to do nation on Earth to be crappy on mars if another colony on mars does a better job at growing.
Though an important thing to discuss would also be, colonizing mars at the "Live in a bubble" stage, or the "Terraformed" stage? Which would you guys rather do? Living in bubbles is obviously horrible for war because everything is so fragile, not to mention expensive as hell to build. But it would get done faster. Waiting to terraform the entire planet would be a huge lump expense, and take time, but once it's done, we can treat the planet just like earth as far as the game mechanics are concerned.

Odette, I was thinking we could do some sort of RP "terraforming" project by now. Sending giant space mirrors to warm up mars and then send a few pods with all the basic life forms (moss, algae, bacteria) then pods with more advanced life forms, etc. In 2 decades (2 months IRL?) we could have an earth. The only problem would be water, which could technically be solved by directing a comet at mars. That would be the most hard part... but we could say a comet hit mars in 2029.

I'm guessing no one really liked this idea. No Free Federation of Planets in this GC then, lol.
