Well as you know the time of basic space exploration is approaching so I want to get some ideas for pricings, These will include:
Dropships - Infantry Dropships - Armour
-Katyer - Small Space Ship. Something the size of a Space Shuttle and smaller.
-Udarniy - Strike Ship - 350k -Korvet - Corvette - 550k -Fregat - Frigate - 700k -Razrushitel - Destroyer -Kreyser - Cruiser -Linkor - Battleship -Kosmonosets - Carrier (term does not exist in real life, instead of "aveo-nosets" [aero-carrier] I replaced with "kosmo-nosets" [space-carrier])
-Desantniy - Landing Ship -Razvedchik - Scout/Recon Ship -Patrulniy - Patrol Ship -Istrebitel - Interceptor

You can also use rodrigs terms along with these. Unfortunately I have started using Russian terms but others should have a choice to do otherwise.
Anyway,
Razrushitel 1000k Kreyser 1300k Linkor/Kosmonosets - 1500k
-Desantniy - Landing Ship - (something like the dropship I showed you?) - 600k -Razvedchik - Scout/Recon Ship - 200k -Patrulniy - Patrol Ship - 400k -Istrebitel - Interceptor - Depends on what this is exactly
I was thinking something like this.

Boring isn't necessarily bad. I suggest something like this: [/i] Class 2 (or Medium) Battlestar (instead of Frigate)Star Destroyer Spacecruiser/Starcruiser Class 3 (or Heavy) Battlestar (instead of Battleship)Fleet Station (Carrier - this could essentially be a militarized Space Staton. Alternatively, we could call it a Spacecraft Carrier)[/ul] And that brings up an interesting point - How do we figure out sizes? Atmospherical displacement relevant to Earth's atmosphere? Cubic meters?[/quote]

Question: If I make something like a deathstar would that count as a fleet station?

I would be more inclined to classify that as a Class 3 Battlestar. Fleet stations would focus more on housing a greater number of vessels, and would have lighter armaments. As I recall, the Deathstar (or at least the one from Star Wars, which I'm assuming is the one you're talking about) had some small vessels, which would be classified as Small Spaceships, but little to no larger ships. A Fleet Station would probably, as suggested by the name, be able to carry an entire fleet, ie many Small Spaceships, a number of Sriker Starships, and perhaps a very limited number of Class 1 or even Class 2 Battlestars. @ Prok - I think that's a good system. Landing Ships would probably be divided into two categories; ship-to-ship, and ship-to-surface. I kinda think that Patrol, Scout/Recon, and Interceptors would fall under the Small Spaceships category.

@reflex You don't have to worry about that, we aren't making any deathstars for the next few decades.
@rodrig Yes, I agree. I'll modify.

Just popping in here I'm not sure why spacecarriers and fleetstations have been combined o.0 It seems like they should be different things entirely. Stations don't move beyond their orbit, that's why they're called Stations. Carriers do move, in fact that carry things, hence their name as well. Which means a lot more effort is put into propulsion than in a station. Which size for size, would make them more expensive. But a carrier is rarely the size of a station because stations also house way more people and act as storage hubs and repair facilities. For similar reasons I don't agree with considering a Death Star as a ship, it is most definitely a station, a supermassive experimental weapons station. And according to the other prices listed I'd personally list it at a minimum of 2mil. And either it'd have a VERY long travel time from place to place, because thrusters, not engines, or it would have to be towed (like most stations are in space settings) from system to system. Also I didn't see anything for science or EWAR type ships. If you'd like to just use the same prices you have but sacrifice some defense or firepower for the dedicated EWAR systems that'd be cool. (And when I say dedicated EWAR I mean like a ship dedicated to jamming the targeting systems of an enemy fleet. That kinda thing.) But I have to get ready for work now, so I'll see what else I can think of tonight.

Alright, space costs are being updated.
-Katyer - Small Space Ship. Something the size of a Space Shuttle and smaller. 600k
-Udarniy - Strike Ship - 1mil -Korvet - Corvette - 5mil -Fregat - Frigate - 10mil -Razrushitel - Destroyer - 15mil -Kreyser - Cruiser - 18mil -Linkor - Battleship - 20mil -Kosmonosets - Carrier (term does not exist in real life, instead of "aveo-nosets" [aero-carrier] I replaced with "kosmo-nosets" [space-carrier]) - 25mil
-Desantniy - Landing Ship - 700k -Razvedchik - Scout/Recon Ship - 450k -Patrulniy - Patrol Ship - 500k -Istrebitel - Interceptor - 550k
Ontop of these updated prices, moving troops up into space/Back to earth using space elevators or pods has an added cost. 50k per 500 Infantry. 75k per 500 Ground Vehicles

Alright, this is towards Mal since he came up with it (Sam told me)
I disagree with the orbital drop pod prices. Mainly because with a space elevator bringing stuff up would be comparatively free. Can we please include a set price for a space elevator, that would remove the fee for drop pod prices?
