This is both a suggestion and an announcement.
The announcement is that between lack of motivation, and life, I'm not entirely certain how much time I can dedicate to this. That being said, I don't want to drop out. So I'll be here from time to time, and I'll try and mod battles when I'm free.
That leads into my suggestion.
Could we create like.... a vacation mode? for when players enter a time when they aren't able to get on regularly.
It'd be a slightly altered set of rules that get applied, something like this:
1. There is a four day delay before any attacks on the VP's (Vacationing Player) territories are played out. If they don't respond in that time, a Mod can carry the battle out, like they would against an AI.
1-b. If they don't respond and their battle gets modded, then the mod uses fictional units. The player's units are put in reserve and not used (that way, though they lose land, at least they don't lose units.)
2. They can't have their capitol taken while they are away (or is that already a rule?)
3. If they have been gone long enough that their weapons and vehicles are outdated (this would be decided by a mod) they can update their existing units for free. Any new units will cost full price though. (perhaps a discount on new units that didn't exist when they left? idk)
These would be my suggestions for making such a mode, what do you guys think?

No, the vehicle outdated thing is bad. Anyone can say "vacation mode" just to get free upgrade.

Agree with everything but what Prokhor mentioned. He income gained while on vacation will more than suffice.

That is why I said "this would be decided by a mod" because yes, it could be abused, so it would require a mod to confirm before they can update their army.

Also, I think we'd need to come up for a system on how their income is handled. Do they just get it all in one massive lump sum? (in that case they can afford to update their own army) or do we slow down the rate of income in vacation mode? (this would encourage players to not use it unless absolutely necessary then)

I see. I can still see it being abused, though. I think the discount would make sense, but only if it is like 2 weeks outdated.

Vaca mode is cool
Half income during vaca
No discounts.
Normal play you can lose your Nation capital, vaca you cannot, but you can lose everything else.

Alright, I am back now.
I still.... hmm... not quite happy with the gameplay mechanics, but I miss having something to give context to builds.
I just might not be the most active, and thus perhaps not the most powerful. This may mean taking a more neutral stance in war... AFTER I deal with opposition.
Here, I'll collect my income for today as normal (I presume that is okay, right?)
And then I think I'll need some help calculating what I earned on reduced vacation pay.

But yea you'll have today's income as normal, then just see how many days you've been away, multiply it by your income, and cut that total in half.

Alright. I'm sorry, but schooling has become a pain in the ass lately, and in order to keep up, I'm not going to be on much, modding or otherwise. I'll try and find time in the weekends, but as of now, count me on vacation mode.

I'm not exactly going to 'vacation mode'. Instead I will add my income everyday and add units to my armory everyday, maybe even give generous gifts. But I won't be involved in any world affairs, etcetera.
I have proven myself to be a douchebag beyond all limits, well not a douchebag, I just have a different idea for this game than others. My karma shows that. I decided to stop participating in everything, and just play casually...

Lol Prok could defend France for you without your forces if he wanted to. I'm pretty sure he's capable of wiping most of Britannia off the map on his own if he felt like it lol.
