For the feels: The enemy forces respond with a small, but efficient force. According to intel, the force is not of the island, but rather an international terrorist group. They are heavily funded from an unknown source, and seek to terrorize many superempires alike.
All infantry is wearing suits such as these: This suit is Tier 2, and is equipped with HUD goggles. Weapons include AN94 based rifles, RPG based AT, Igla based MANPADS, MG3 based machineguns, Dragunov and OSV based sniper weapons, TT-33 based secondary weapons Infantry Units:-700x Riflemen -300x Light Machineguns -25x Snipers -84x AT Guided Missile Launcher Troopers -33x MANPADS Troopers -28x SMG Troopers
Surprisingly, the vehicle units are of UT/Russian origin, however they are extremely modified. They appear to rely mostly on heavy units, but have a mass of light units. Ships are small and inexpensive, as they have focused on military forces. However, they are quite hitech. As they approach the Island the s1850M radars fitted to the destroyers picks up the enemy fleet and from afar the Enforcer and Leyland classes open fire with VLS and main guns. The Spruance class and Carioca class stay behind the Enforcer and Leyland but support with main guns. The Harrier Gr.3 fighter aboard HMS Carioca is launched and tasked with carrying out high speed runs against the enemy ships. He is armed with Sea Eagle missiles*. (Flying an Intel-gathering unit over the island opens up mission objectives, secondary objectives and enemy positions.)
Unfortunately, radars only pick up one Floznatros destroyer and a swarm of drone combat ships behind Northwest point. Main guns cannot engage yet, however missiles are. Firing missiles gave away your position however.
Your missile strike is half successful, as the destroyer's gun was disabled.
The detected boats are now coming at your ships: and fast.

The RAAF and Fleet Air Arm aircraft continue on their vector to engage the enemy shipping.
With the fleets position compromised they continue heading north west towards the western tip of the island.
2x EH-101 Merlin helicopters deploy from HMS Carioca armed with Sea Skua torpedo's and mounted .50cal machineguns, they are deployed to carry out an observation of potential landing sites and to visually scout out any enemy ships or missile positions. Escorting the helicopters from above and protecting from enemy aircraft are 2 Eurofighter Typhoons equipped for an Anti-air role.

Be aware that these jets are at least twice as better as yours, as they are 6th generation prototypes. -Helicopter gunships must also be destroyed. [/li][li]Eliminate Naval Forces -Most water units will be eliminated. I will report when you are done with the water units. [/li][li]Eliminate MOST Ground Forces -When you have eliminated enough, you have won over the ground. I will report when you are done, commander. Secondary[/li][li]Destroy Drone Command Center -When this building is destroyed or captured, all drone boats will be disabled. This counts as destroyed in terms of "Eliminate Naval Forces" objective. This building is located at the "Grants Well" area located in the center of the island. As soon as the recce mission is complete the Merlins are ordered back to the helicopter carrier for refueling, as they RTB they periodically fire of flares and IR Jammers to confuse enemy missiles to get out of the area.
A pair of Tornado GR.4 Ground Attack fighters flying at high altitude and high speed fly over known locations of enemy forces with intel pods snapping video and picture so as to get an idea of the numbers of forces.
Once they have gathered intel they carry out preemptive strikes against the Airfield to the north of the Island.

With the distress signal received from the downed Tornado an immediate rescue plan is set up consisting of 2 Merlin helicopters carrying a MERT team and a single helicopter assault team.

They will be flying as low as possible avoiding radar positions, door weapons on all transport helicopters will be manned and observing their arcs. 2 of the Apache Longbows will fly ahead and attack any AA positions and clear a position for the transports to land. Once on the ground the Infantry and WMIKS jeeps will form an all-round defence encirling the wreckage and aircraft whilst the medics will deal with the Pilots and get them into a Merlin. The Apache aircraft will circle a 700m radius to cover the helicopter teams. Once the pilots are recovered the aircraft will take off and get back to the fleet ASAP. Out at sea the fleets main guns fire upon coastal defenses. |

5 BLM-33 Light Tanks appear from the trees from the trees on the eastern side of the site, along with 2 Cockroach APC right before your helos get on the ground. The Cockroach autocannons begin to fire. One Chinook is torn up. As it falls, all but 8 soldiers get to the safety of another helo.
The wreck is found and salvaged. Both pilots have been recovered, alive. However, they are surrounded by enemy infantry, 32 riflemen. Along with tanks.
The Cockroaches have to be destroyed before you can take off.

The Apache longbow helicopters tighten their circuit and re-engage the tanks and enemy units with guns, missiles and rockets. On the ground AT rockets are pulled out of the land rovers and fire at the enemy APC's whilst the infantry weapons engage the enemy infantry.

The light tanks try to protect the IFVs, but are overwhelmed by the Apaches and AT. They are all destroyed, but 13 of your infantrymen are killed, as well as 2 AT jeeps.
Your Apaches are unscathed, as the Cockroaches reacted too late. One fires a SAM which misses by a mile, while the other attempts to destroy a Lynx. It fails, and both Cockroaches get destroyed.
The infantymen snake back into the forests.
Your helos are able to fly back unscathed. Congratualtions, you have completed this secondary objective, and have earned 4500 Credits.
You also now know that the SCUD positions are not guarded very heavily, and can be eliminated with something less of a full assault.

Using a mixture of Helicopter recce and S1850M radars the Attack element of 21st fleet spots and engages the Enemy frigates. A secondary aid in the search is IR targeting systems aboard the RAN Ships and IR/Thermal cameras fitted to helicopters.
Once spotted and targeted the enemy ships will be engaged by a mix of VLS, AS Missiles and main guns. A harrier jet based on HMS Carioca is rearmed and refueled and is tasked with engaging with Sea Eagle missiles.

Almost half of the drone ships are destroyed before they reach your ships. However, they do launch off a load of torpedoes. 2 of your HK destroyers, 1 Air defence are disabled until the end of the battle, and a leyland class is sunken. A few, upon reaching your ships, simply blow up. Suicide bomber drone ships, it seems.
Only one stealth frigate is found. The other is almost impossible to find... intel about it's position can be only found at the drone command center or at one of the command vehicles.
The stealth frigate takes down 4 of your helicopters. The Harrier however disables it's guns before it can do more damage.

The remaining fully manned Helicopter Assault Team is dispatched to the Drone command center.

The drones begin to turn back and regroup. More boats have arrived.
A SCUD-like missile strikes near a Leland and disables it.
Your bombers are able to drop all of their bombs... but it appears that both command vehicles were fake mockups. You have yet to find the real ones and destroy them.
Your helo assault team is able to land stealthily near the building.

The Vulcan bombers return to base in Australia.
The UDKA fleet changes course to head south at as low a speed as their slowest ships can handle, Repair crews onboard are hard at work carrying out what repairs they can.
Once on the ground the Infantry from the helicopters storm the building from multiple entrances both original and custom made (Explosives) the Apache helicopters provide overwatch engaging any approaching vehicles and troops.

The drones race towards your ships again. The fate of your fleet depends on the team in the building.
No troops appear to approach the command building. Your team is clearing it, and has discovered the location of the second frigate. It is at Wright Point.
Another SCUD-like missile hits the water, missing your fleet. It is tracked to the SCUD launchers (secondary objective)

2 more Vulcan bombers are tasked with destroying any and all SCUD sites found fake or real.
On the ground the clearance team enters the control room and rounds up all the control personnel, once they are secured they change the courses of the drones to head towards the enemy fleet and activate the self destruct.

Apparently, the team finds out that the drones cannot self destruct when within 100 meters of it's own fleet. Either way, the frigate is destroyed.
You still have 2 more destroyers to deal with, however.
It seems like one SCUD site has been destroyed, as missile strikes have become rarer.
For capturing drone center, you get: 6500, for destroying the frigate: 9000.

Repairs to the fleet are ongoing.
The main guns of the Enforcer class ships locate the position of a missile firing and engage with their own missiles.
With the Drone center secured sentries are posted and troops Reorg and rearm.
With the drones destroyed 5 Ground attack fighters are tasked with mopping up whats left of the fleet. Whilst another 5 supported by AC-150 aircraft engage the airfield.

-An abandoned anti-ship missile position is known to exist south of the drone command center at position 319. It will be very useful to you if you capture it.

The Spruance class destroyers are at full battle stations and link to the radar systems of the other fleet destroyers using the Joint Tactical Awareness Uplink which combines ship radars and observation satellites, with their range now covering the whole Island the Spruance is on the look out for any enemy aircraft ready to engage them with missiles, CIWS and Main guns. In the air all Eurofighters equipped for anti-air roles are escorting the AG fighters vectored to strike the enemy fleet. On the ground a group of C-130's carrying the Pathfinder group flies over the AS Missile site and paradrops them down from a relativly low altitude, once on the ground they will form up and assault the "abandoned" AS Missile site and capture it. The air assault team in the Lynx helicopter will be providing overwatch having a longer FOV than the ground units.

The assault on the AS position is successful. There were no enemy troops in the area. You recieve 20,000.
Both enemy destroyers are sunk, but not without loss. Another Leyland is sunk. Your new AS position saved you from a second Leyland loss.

With the enemy fleet destroyed the UDKA fleet moves into position at Jones point.
The Edinburgh class LST's flanked by LCAC's and other landing craft hit the beach and spill their contents onto the beach the AA and artillery setting up on the beach whilst the infantry set up a perimeter using the mass of Land rovers and tanks.
Using their enhanced radar range the Spruance class destroyers are activly targetting and engageing enemy aircraft.

The enemy jets start flying into the area and making air strikes. Your Spruances are having trouble locking on and destroying them due to their extreme maneuverability, but will eventually take them down.
Airstrikes fail however. A few low flying helicopters are seen distantly above the trees, most likely surveying your troops and unloading their own.
Your beachhead is successful.
EDIT: Airstrike: airfield mission complete. You have been awarded 20,000 credits. Less enemy troops will be meeting you at the beach.

The ground based SAMP-T batteries target and fire upon the enemy helicopters whilst the Artillery battery zero's rounds in on their LZ. Infantry and armour prepare to defend their beach head at all costs and start to advance.
The UDKA Eurofighter Typhoon jets split into two squadrons flying at moderate and high altitudes and fly to engage the enemy aircraft. If either squadron is engaged the second with attack the enemy either from above or below.
The Enforcer class battleships provide additional gun support and missile strikes for the landing infantry.

2 and 3 PARA continue their advance sweeping the terrain and engaging any and all enemy troops, any targets they cannot engage on their own they call in support from Armour, Fleet guns and artillery/Mortars. The SAM sites join the Spruance classes and Fighter Squadrons in attacking the enemy air force. A merlin helicopter flies at low altitude surveying the area scouting ahead of the infantry.

An Infantry assault group breaks off from the scouting infantry to trail and engage the mobile SCUD TEL whilst it is on the MSR. Once located it will be engaged and an air strike will be called in, provided by a Tornado GR.4 with AGM-65 Maverick missiles. Once the SCUD is dealt with and the Command vehicles are located the armoured units will be called up to attack the command vehicles in a single heavy swoop. If the tanks cannot penetrate Artillery support will be provided from the beach. |

Ground Attacks destroy a UDKA tank along with 12 riflemen. The jets are soon destroyed.
Multiroles take down a Tornado before being taken down themselves. Your Tornado is salvaged and pilots recovered, it will cost only half when you rebuy it.
The SCUD launcher destroys 2 Warrior IFVs along with 2 MAPADS troopers in it's last strike. It is then traced and destroyed, you recieve 20,000
Enemy artillery rains down on your units, and the enemies advance towards you in a last stand. You lose 4 MBTs, 41 riflemen, 3 MANPADS, 3 Warriors, and an Apache in this struggle but quickly destroy their force and soon take over the enemy command vehicles. You recieve 45,000 for salvaging the command vehicles.
The enemy helicopters attempt a last strike towards your original beach head position. They are able to destroy 2 SPGs before being quickly shot out of the sky with your numerous air defences.
Congratulations, you have taken over Christmas island. I suggest 4,500 daily due to the long conflict with numerous losses.
